Privacy
Privacy information for CFOCoder, a static personal blog hosted on Cloudflare Pages.
This page explains how CFOCoder handles privacy.
CFOCoder is a personal technical blog by Héctor Sánchez. The site is currently published as a static website: pages are generated ahead of time and served as files, instead of running on WordPress for each visit.
This site does not ask you to create an account, log in, or submit personal information.
Like most websites, the hosting and delivery infrastructure may process basic technical information needed to serve the site, such as:
- IP address
- browser and device information
- requested URL
- timestamp
- basic security and performance logs
These logs are handled by the hosting/CDN provider and are mainly used for security, reliability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
The site may use browser storage for basic preferences, such as the selected light/dark theme.
The search feature is powered by Pagefind. It runs locally in your browser against a static search index and does not require a server-side search database.
At the moment, this Astro version of the site does not include a dedicated analytics tracking script in the source code.
If analytics is enabled in the future, it should be used only to understand aggregate traffic and improve the content of the blog. If Matomo or a similar privacy-friendly analytics tool is added, this page should be updated with the relevant opt-out information.
The site may rely on third-party infrastructure or services, including:
- Cloudflare Pages / Cloudflare CDN for hosting and delivery
- GitHub for source-code hosting and deployment workflow
- Browser-loaded assets required by the theme or static site build
If comments, embeds, newsletters, or external analytics are enabled later, this page should be updated accordingly.
